Welcome to my Student Rental Site

The purpose of this site is to provide information about the London Student Rental market for investors and parents buying a rental property for  their children while they are at UWO or Fanshawe. The site provides a discussion forum so that landlords and tenants can exchange information about:

  • The financial viability of purchasing a student rental
  • Applications, leases and other forms required for renting 
  • City and Provincial regulations for rental units
  • Students needs and how to build good relations with your tenants. This will avoid vacancies and dealing with problem tenants.
  • Operating and maintenance costs so you can stay in business to provide students with affordable, quality housing.

LINKS at the top of the web page has useful links to provincial, municipal professional sites associated with the rental business.

 

As investors, providing a valuable service, namely safe affordable housing for students, we can all learn from each other. Understanding the needs of tenants and controlling operating costs will help you continue to provide this service. An important part of this web site are the READER’S COMMENTS.
